ALCHEMY OF BALANCE

The CMS course, The Alchemy of Balance will be
held on Monday evenings, and is scheduled to start on
August 9, 2010 at the Clearwater campus, 18514 U.S. 19
N., Clearwater at 7:30 PM. Classes are based on a
6-session plan (6-weeks on and 1-week off). Tuition will
be $15.00 per weekly class session with $45.00 payable
at registration and $45.00 due every 3rd week unless
otherwise specified. Special financial arrangements can
be made, in advance, on a case-to-case basis. The

How the perception of imbalance in our lives
creates opportunities
for our soul’s growth,
evolution, and transmutation. |
 Symbolically,
alchemy represents the art of manipulating life and
consciousness in matter to help the evolution and
resolution of inner disharmony. The main goal of alchemy
is the creation of a spiritually complete individual
whose several components of consciousness are united,
resulting in an integrated, independent and enlightened
human being.
The alchemist
perceives the universe as a reflection of the
imagination of the Divine. Universal laws are consistent
and logical, so if humans are created in the image of
the creator, then they, too, can create through the
power of imagination. Intense imagination pushes on the
universe, which creates a magnetic, powerful draw; the
resulting image comes to fruition. The sages and mystics
called this creative process alchemy. Rather than the
delusion of material gold, those who have the
consciousness of reality seek the golden light of
spiritual inspiration. The inner longing for this true
gold makes some collect the imitation gold, ignorant
that the real gold is within themselves. They satisfy
the initial craving of their souls in this way, but
still remain hungry.
Matter exists
only because the human seed creates it. The human seed,
the original man, created matter in order to evolve the
soul. Man also has the ego and free will to help this
process. When we confuse the body and material
possessions with the true self, which are not separate
from the Divine, we become the slaves of circumstance.
The circumstances of chaos and disharmony leave us
disconnected and imbalanced. Only through conscious
choice to create balance will be begin the journey back
to our realization of our interconnectedness with God.
Alchemists
sought to transmute by joining opposites. By seeking
balance, we are attempting to merge opposites. Through
awareness of our perceptions of imbalance, we are led to
a more conscious interaction with our thoughts, actions
and creations. Through the conscious fine-tuning of our
reality, we begin the process of the alchemy of balance.
In this course you will learn
tools for becoming conscious of your own life, your own
perceptions of its imbalances and strive to create a
path toward balance. The process of correction will
allow you to see your conscious thoughts and actions
creating the circumstances of your life. Because life is
dynamic and inevitably changing, a life of complete and
continuous balance is not the goal. Like the pendulum of
a clock, there is potential on either extreme and it
passes only momentarily through the middle. Similarly, a
satellite spends much of its orbiting life off-course
and constantly corrected. In the big picture, it
fulfills its purpose. This is a journey, not a
destination.
